Eleutherodactylus ockendeni is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and possibly Bolivia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, and heavily degraded former forest. Research published in early 2008 suggested that the species is actually at least 3 different morphospecies that diverged at least 5 million years ago. [1] References
