The Mahakali Caves (Hindi: महाकाली गुफ्फा) (also known as the Kondivita Caves) are Buddhist caves dating back almost two thousand years, located in the city of Mumbai (Bombay), India. It is carved out of a solid black basalt rock. It is located near the junction between the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road and SEEPZ. The caves are in danger of being encroached upon. The caves are located on a hill that overlooks the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli link road and the SEEPZ++ area.[1] A direct bus run by the BEST corporation links the caves with Andheri station.
