St. blaise is a co-educational High school Founded in 1879 and conducted by the Diocesan Clergy to give an all round education liberal, and academical and also physician, moral and spiritual primarily to catholics for whose education the institution is established. The Secondary school is recognised by the Government of Maharashtra and Primary by the Corporation of greater Mumbai. It compromises of ten standards and in the tenth standard it prepares pupils for the Secondary school Certificate. It also prepares children for the Governmental Drawing Examinations, Hindi and Marathi Public Examination.

Campus

The campus of the school is around 400 metres long and contains a hockey ground and a muddy football ground with a stage for celebrating the school's Annual Day. It also contains a small canteen where we can buy snacks for our breakfast. Just right to the school is the St. Blaise Church.

Diamond jubilee

St. Blaise high School completed it's diamond jubilee in the year 1954 just 7 years after the Independence of India and has completed 129 yeas till now.

Uniform

• Boys - Mild olive green pants (with side pockets) and white shirts, green tie, black leather shoes and white socks.
• Girls- Checked pinafore with white blouse, tie and black leather buckled shoes and white socks. Pinafore two inches below the knees bloomers or cycle shorts to be worn.
• Footwear- During rainy season black colour sandals are allowed. No floaters, no chappals or no coloured sandals.

The house system

• Gandhi house - Green
• Tagore house - Blue
• Nehru house - red
• Sarojini house - yellow

The students are divided into these Four Houses and all the activities are conducted on the House Basis. The Prefects are chosen from the topmost classes. Prefects help to maintain discipline in the School. Thr prefects meet once a month

• Competitions: Elocutions in English, Hindi, Marathi, Dramatics, Singing, Debating, Art and Craft, Hand Writing, General Knowledge, Rangoli, Dance.
• Games: Football, Cricket, Hockey, Volley ball, Throw Ball, Table Tennis, Boxing, Wrestling, Carom, Chess.
• Activities: Scouting, Guiding, Social Service, M.C.C.. Each student from Std. VII must take part in one of these activities. The School provides a Library and a reading room.
• Tours: Excursion Leadership Camps, Picnics and Tours are organised from time to time.
