Map of Japanese provinces (1868) with Totomi Province highlighted

Tōtōmi (遠江国 Tōtōmi no kuni?) is a former province in the area of Japan that is today western Shizuoka prefecture.

Tōtōmi's ancient castle town was near modern Iwata, but by the Sengoku period, the chief castle town was at Hamamatsu. Tōtōmi was controlled by the Imagawa clan, and later came under the control of Tokugawa Ieyasu, who ruled it until he took over the Kantō region.
