Whitley Bay Metro station is a station on the Yellow line of the Tyne and Wear Metro network, in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, England.

The station dates from 1910 and is now a Grade II listed building.^[1]

Ticketing anomalies

Different zonal fare systems are used for Metro single tickets and inter-modal Transfare tickets, which means that for a number of journeys a Transfare may actually be cheaper than a standard Metro-only ticket.
