Current requests for protectionPlace requests for either semi-protection, full protection, move protection, or create protection at the TOP of this section. Check here if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here. Semi-protection -- This is a frequent IP-vandalism target. Since it came off its previous semi-protection on November 18, its edit history is dominated by vandalism-related activity. Magic♪piano 03:58, 5 December 2008 (UTC) Temporary semi-protection vandalism, We have been experiencing a high load of vandalism and unconfirmed spoilers from anonymous IPs. It would be great to get semi-protection for about a month, at which point in time the finale will have aired and interest in vandalism will have (hopefully) subsided. Thanks!.Plastikspork (talk) 03:48, 5 December 2008 (UTC) full-protection. User Tony May is continuing a revert war past the point that an RFC was opened to settle the dispute (see article talk page). Request full protection to encourage his productive participation in the discussion. MickMacNee (talk) 03:49, 5 December 2008 (UTC) Semi-protection -- frequent IP vandalism, especially from suspected socks of Jamesinc14. A school-based IP was recently blocked for vandalising this article, but he continued to vandalise from an AT&T-based IP address. -- azumanga (talk) 03:09, 5 December 2008 (UTC) Semi-protection High levels of IP vandalism. semi-protect. High level of IP vandalism. This article received protection before, but my last request was declined. Yet not four hours goes by from my revert without have to deal with more vandalism. We're contributors, not babysitters. Don't make us have to put up with the public schools covering the American Revolution. MMetro (talk) 00:52, 5 December 2008 (UTC) Semi-protect one day - high level of vandalism ever since being featured on the main page; should die off after it's taken off of the featured article section tomorrow. Indefinite semi-protection vandalism.-- IRP ☎ 00:03, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection vandalism, This page was semi-protected until it expired earlier today. Within several hours of the semi-protection being lifted, we started experiencing a relatively high amount of vandalism and unsourced spoilers by anonymous IPs. It would be great if we could get semi-protection for about one more month, at which point the finale will have aired and there should be declined interest in vandalism on the page. Thank you for your consideration..Plastikspork (talk) 23:58, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Semi-protection: Repeated addition of unsourced sequel by assorted IP addresses. - SummerPhD (talk) 21:28, 4 December 2008 (UTC) Current requests for unprotectionIf you simply want to make spelling corrections or add information to a protected page that is not disputed, and you are not involved in any disputes there, consider simply adding {{Editprotected}} to the article's talk page, along with an explanation of what you want to add to the page. See the list of current {{Editprotected}} requests. If you do want a page that exists unprotected, please try to ask the protecting admin first before making a request here. Check here if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here. Unprotection please. There are some things wrong with the article. Thanks. -76.111.67.200 (talk) 23:01, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
Current requests for edits to a protected page
Note: Unless the talk page itself is protected, you may instead add {{Editprotected}}, {{Editsemiprotected}} or {{Request edit}} to the article's talk page if you would like an inconsequential change rather than requesting it here, though most of these should simply wait for unprotection. See also: Fulfilled/denied requestssemi-protect for 4 weeks. One or more annonymous IPs keep deleting from the article without any debate or explanation. The most active IP is a permanent NewsCorp address. Thanks, Wefa (talk) 22:01, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

A KAS school faculty has been discovered attempting to remove the truth here at KAS. Allow the student body to edit. If you do not believe that we are misrepresenting our edits, you may contact us using the talk page or a visit to KAS to see the torn walls that we have here. Wikipedia should not be censored and we do not want to vandalize. We are only here to talk about the truth. Please unprotect.Thank you. 211.21.238.26 (talk) 04:13, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Temporary semi-protection vandalism, There has recently been a significant amount of vandalism from IP's as such i think a temporary block would be of value .安東尼 TALKies 16:19, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
Two week semi-protection I missed these two articles in my last request. Part of a long-running edit war that began on November 4, when User:Howard the Duck removed charts that violate WP:BADCHARTS from I Belong to Me. Since then, multiple anonymous IPs (190.43.33.197, 190.43.147.102, 190.232.156.19, 200.106.16.107, etc) have been edit-warring the charts back in. When I removed some bad charts from A Public Affair on November 30, the war simply expanded. Punkox (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log) has joined in, as well: he looks like the named account associated with the anonymous edits to me. This has been a widespread problem: it has already resulted in protection of —Kww(talk) 13:11, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
long term semi-protect. Sock-puppets whitewashing the page removing validly cited information that is critical or negative. Admins have run CheckUser, found a lot of sock-puppets and banned them (as you can see in the talk). Yet for some reason the page is not semi-protected, so new sock-puppets keep being created, and they come and revert the page from a consensus version to a whitewashed version. Please semi-protect it (if not indef full protect) for a couple of months at least, in the hope that those using sock-puppets will see sense. Also note, this page has been under indef full-protect in the past for months at end. The whitewshers ignore any appeals made on talk page to discuss, and when the page is unprotected, return to their games. Makrandjoshi (talk) 15:34, 4 December 2008 (UTC) Indefinite full protect. We had this before, and then an admin decided to remove it. Semi protection will not help, because all the vandal edits are registered users. Some have been long-term sockpuppets. This article will not improve until those who want to make drastic edits come to the talk page and explain themselves. Please look at the protection history. Full protection is the only way to achieve stability. Let the community request unprotection when appropriate discussion has taken place. ~Amatulić (talk) 15:48, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
